Community Art

This project was based on "Freccles" Friends of Eccles train station, we were asked to help them brighten up our local station by making a series of posters, each based on a different time of the stations history. My group designed the thrid board based on 1830, and the "cutting edge of technology", meaning ours was based on the industry of the time.

Armour and Adornments

My initial drawings were based on birds and insects, done in a variety of black and white/ colour mediums aswell as textiles ( knitting etc). My final piece is based on an earwig. I also looked allot at the idea of armour, turning the insects segments into a helmet and shoulder pad.

Manchester

Painting:

My painting outcome is one of my favourite pieces from my early college life, it links quite heavily with my early sketches, and is meant to show the whole of Manchester in a few seconds. 

Organic Structures

After looking at a variety of different aspects of nature I decided to base my Sculptural final piece was based around a flower, I looked at seed pods and Orchids, and was lucky to find a flower outside college that seemed to be somewhere in between the two.
